I was trying to record my grad school interviews. Too bad I’m a perfectionist. Enjoy these bloopers.

VEDA #4: Cup Song with My Students
I’m going off to Syracuse today! I did my VEDA vlog #4 with my students. Enjoy! :)
Navy LABWORK Peplum Jacket- Worn 4 ways
I talked about my Navy LABWORK Peplum Jacket from Target in an earlier post. Check out how it fits and how versatile it is.
Revolutionary Young Minds
Thought I’d share my cute pictures of my students. For some reason, they have been randomly posing with books about iconic Black figures. I couldn’t resist snapping a photo of them.
I hope they’ll one day sit down and reflect on the lives of these men and come to their own enlightened truths about the world.
VEDA Vlog #1: Fine Point Pen Obsession
I decided to join the VEDA (Vlog Every Day of April) challenge thanks to SpicyEve‘s video. Let’s see how it goes.
Winning at TARGET’s Clearance

#1. Navy LABWORK Peplum Jacket
I enjoy peplum and this blazer is a sophisticated approach to the trend. I would pair this jacket with something bright or with a print or pattern to lighten it up. I’m not entirely sure of the reason for the steep discount, but I saw it wasn’t on sale online. It had a clearance online item sticker, which suggests it may have been an exchange or return from an online purchase. Either way, I’m happy to the discount.
#2. Mossimo Beige & Neon Crossbody Satchel

God must have been smiling down on me today because this purse was the only one of its kind in the store. I stumbled on it and had to snag it at 50% off. It’s a good size– not big enough to hold a child, but big enough for my necessities. It was just just in the nick of time, because the duct-taped handles on my school tote bag were getting embarrassing. This will be my travel companion this weekend. It seems very versatile.
#3. Dalmatian-print Skirt

I’ve been looking to add some prints into my wardrobe and this quirky skirt fits the bill. I love the color and the details. At the icing on the cake was that it came with it’s own belt. I’m a sucker for almost anything that comes with a belt included. This particular belt is a versatile cognac brown color. I could easily wear it with other outfits.
Today was definitely a good day for shopping. I think my findings might have been by happenstance. I wouldn’t expect to see these crazy discounts everywhere.
In total, I saved $33.74 + $15 + $14 = $62.74 saved!!
Oh yeaa. Mama likes.

March has been awesome! God has been really showing out this month! I’ve learned a lot and have been growing and putting things into perspective. Speaking of growing, my hair has been growing like a weed. Check out this post tracking my growth this month. Click here to view it.
Naturale Chronicles: March Growth Report
I just wanted to share some pictures of my hair, since it’s been growing so much (at least by my standards)

Length check:

I’ve never seen my hair grow this much! I have been able to do so much with them. I can’t believe I once thought I’d be restricted with my hair like this.
